The LaVerne Schmitkons Nethercut collection consists mainly of materials accumulated while she (Vernie Schmitkons) was a student at the University of Michigan. There is one scrapbook detailing her activities at the University as well as other materials which was intended to be placed in other scrapbook volumes. This material (clippings, memorabilia, receipts, course materials, publications, etc.) documents her involvement in campus activities and organizations. Notable among her activities are files relating to the Student Executive Committee of the Michigan Memorial Phoenix Project, course materials from the U-M Department of Physical Education for Women, and a workbook and other materials from the summers she spent as a counselor at the University's National Music Camp at Interlochen. A smaller part of the collection consists of travel brochures for the Alpena area collected for the period of the 1990s up to about 2005.

Gamma Chapter at University of Michigan of Mu Phi Epsilon, established in 1904, part of professional music sorority. In 1976 membership opened to males. Organization is still active. Material includes minutes, correspondence, membership records, financial records, and scrapbooks.

Materials are arranged in chronological order, starting with most recent date except where noted.

The records of the University of Michigan Panhellenic Association contain meeting minutes, annual officers' reports, newspaper clippings, presidents reports, scrapbooks, photographs, printed materials, posters and broadsides. The records document the administration and history of the Panhel at the University of Michigan.

The records of the Panhellenic Association (Panhel) measure 7.5 linear feet and include one outsize scrapbook and an outsize folder. The records date from 1945 to 1991 and consist of meeting minutes, annual officers' reports, newspaper clippings, photographs, printed materials, and posters. Despite the range of years covered by the collection as a whole, no one time period is completely documented. Three scrapbooks contains correspondence, admission letters, registration documents, tickets to university events, dance cards, programs and newspaper clippings. Illustrates University of Michigan student social activities following World War II. Also includes a narrative of a November 1945 visit with Fielding H. Yost, and issues of the "Pipes of Pan" published for University of Michigan sorority women.

Photographs in two photo albums depict students and student organizations, such as Delta Delta Delta, the Football and Basketball team, and game day celebrations and events. Also features photographs of Bob Chappius, Rose Bowl 1948 and Marlene Dietrich.

Historic restaurant based in Marshall, Michigan, specializing in American home-style cuisine. Since 1909, the Schuler family has owned and operated this Michigan institution. Records include administrative files, menus, advertising and publicity materials, slides, photographs, videotapes and scrapbooks.

The records of Schuler's restaurant document the long history and background of this restaurant. The bulk of the materials come from the heyday of the restaurant from the 1950s to the 1980s when the restaurant experienced major growth and national recognition.

The Elly McMillan Peterson papers document the career of a Republican party activist and official, an advocate of the Equal Rights Amendment, and candidate for the U.S. Senate. The papers, comprised largely of correspondence, reports, and memoranda, are organized into seven series: Republican Party Activities, ERAmerican, Other Organizational Activities, Personal/Biographical, Speeches, Photographs, Scrapbooks/Clippings.

Hugh "Jeep" Holland was the founder of the A-Square Record label in Ann Arbor in 1967, and consequently became an integral part of the southeast Michigan music scene in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The collection documents, in papers, photographs and sound recordings, Jeep's personal life, interests, and career.

The Jeep Holland papers date from his youth in the late 1940s up to his death in 1998, and document his personal life, his education, and his career, particularly the record label and production company he founded, A-Square Records. The collection is comprised of the following series: Administrative, Artist Files, Personal Files, Realia, Sound Recordings, and Visual.
