Personal and early career, 1918-1955

The Personal and early career series covers the period of 1918 to 1955. This series includes biographical information, a diary kept while in the US Navy, class notes and other material from courses taken at the University of Michigan Law School, case notes and correspondence from his work with Monaghan, Crowley, Reilley and Kellog, materials from his years teaching at the University of Missouri, and correspondence from his service with the Office of Price Administration and his work with Burke, Burke and Smith.
