The Ephemera series, like Workshops and Events, is divided into two subseries: Naomi Long Madgett and Lotus Press. The ephemera on Madgett includes mostly tear sheets, clippings, and photocopies from published sources: reviews of her work, feature articles about her career in newspapers and magazines, and announcements for awards and public appearances not filed under Workshops and Events. Under each type, the material has been arranged chronologically where possible. Of special interest may be the files of reviews, which contain some reviews of her books from the 1950s and 1960s.

The Lotus Press subseries contains catalogs and booklists issued by Lotus Press, catalogs from MSU Press listing the books in the Lotus Press Poetry Series, and booklists and advertisements published in periodicals. Fliers and press releases from Lotus Press announcing new publications and soliciting submissions are also filed here, arranged chronologically where possible, and feature articles on the press clipped from newspapers and magazines.
