Item [12] promotes Royal Rochester chafing dish. Includes instructions on use; recipes for beverages, broths, eggs, meats, vegetables, and desserts; images of chafing dish; advertisments for other Rochester products, including the electric coffee percolator and casserole dishes; and index. Some recipes include wine or liquor as an ingredient. Sample recipes: apple water, egg chocolate, and creamed ham.

Item [13] is similar to Item [12] but different cover design; images of the chafing dish have been removed; and advertisments for other products have been consolidated to four pages, rather than distributed throughout the recipe pages.

Item [14] promotes the services of Miss Selina Bradin and chafing dishes. Includes advice and recipes for eggs, seafood, fish, game, meat, cheese, and vegetables; and advertisements for 27 local Connecticut companies. Sample recipes: creamed calf's brains, fruit canapes, and egg-nest salad. Damaged: front and back covers have been taped and are completely detached from binding.

Item [15] promotes G. Bloch of Holland. Includes personal advertisement for promoting American products in Holland and purchasing products from warehouses or wholesale importers of china, earthenware, and glassware for sale in the European market. No recipes.

Item [16] promotes Sterno canned heat. Includes instructions for using canned heat; menus; recipes for eggs, breads, sandwiches, salads, meats, vegetables, and desserts; advertisements for other Sterno products, including the folding stove, vaporizer, and toaster; description of the author; images of women in period dress and products; and three laid-in items, two offers for a Sterno stove and a free toaster and one advertisement for Sterno canned heat. Sample recipes: asparagus soup, fried green corn, and chocolate blanc mange.

Item [17] promotes Corning Ware. Includes instructions for using and cleaning Corning Ware saucepans; recipes for soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts; advertisement for Corning Ware skillets; and images of product. Sample recipes: beets in orange sauce, blueberry dumplings, and spoon bread. Marked: LC-119A.

Item [18] promotes Cal-Dak tray tables. Includes advice on selecting a tray table set; instructions on using the tables for cocktail parties, semi-formal dinners, card parties, traveling, at the office, and around the house; images of men, women, and children in period dress; and advertisements for the Cal-Dak laundry cart, shopping cart, and hose reels.
