Includes introduction to the Buffalo Retail Grocers' Association by Alexander Hoegl, Secretary of the Pure Food Show Committee; advertisements for local products and companies, such as Plasmon, Broadway Brewing & Malting Company, and Meyer Wagon Works; song lists of daily concerts by 74th Regt. Band during show dates from April 27 to May 2, 1903, with Justus G. Miller, Conductor; images of product packaging, factory, and men, women, and children in period dress; miscellaneous recipes; a section with "Favorite Receipts of Buffalo Women" with recipes attributed; and song lists by 65th Regt. Band during show dates May 4, 1903 to May 9, 1903, with John Powell, bandmaster. Some recipes include wine, beer, or liquor as an ingredient. Sample recipes: champagne cup, cheese a la Finley, and a new salad a la Chautauqua. Damaged: cover torn at binding, brittle cover and pages.
