Mining, Timber, and Land Investments (1883-1940; 7.4 linear feet) documents Osborn's many business and financial dealings. Of special note are those files pertaining to his iron mining business resulting from his discovery of iron near Sudbury in Ontario. There is also considerable material resulting from his involvement with the Michigan Iron and Land Company and pertaining to his numerous investments in Michigan timber lands.
