Scope and Content:

One oversized flat box containing nine portfolio folders of broadsides, posters, and art prints showcasing the letterpress, intaglio, and relief print work of Signal-Return, a community letterpress print shop in Detroit, and its affiliated artists.

Biographical / Historical:

Signal-Return Press is a community printmaking shop located in Detroit, Michigan. Founded in 2011, Signal-Return produces fine art prints, posters, and letterpress materials by artists in the Detroit area. Notable pieces included in this collection are a series of protest posters created for the Summer 2020 Black Lives Matter protests and a studio impression of Lucy's Sampler, by Nina Katchadourian.
