Scope and Content:: This 138-page unpublished screenplay dramatizes the life of anarchist Emma Goldman.
Biographical / Historical:: Lea Walker Wood, the screenplay's author, was born in Ohio in 1916. She taught elementary and middle school in California until her retirement in 1976. A passionate activist herself, she wrote numerous plays about the history of social activism in the US. Wood died in 2014 in Vermont.
