The Andrew Jackson Warren photographs include a portrait of Warren and his wife, Edith Parsons Warren; and a photograph, taken by Warren, of Saline, Michigan children beside school building.

Biographical / Historical:

Born January 7, 1856 in Michigan to Aaron Warren and Mary (Hart) Warren. After briefly moving to Franklin, Kansas, the family settled in Saline, Michigan. Warren worked as a shop clerk and in an office before becoming the publisher of the Saline Observer. Warren died September 30, 1937.

Edith L. (Parsons) Warren was born in Saline in 1858 to Cornelius and Mary Parsons. Edith and Andrew Warren married in 1876. Edith Warren was active in the Eastern Star and Maccabees. She passed away in January 1929.
