Jackier currently serves as a senior partner with the Law offices of Jackier Gould, P.C. (Bloomfield Hills, Michigan). Throughout his legal career, Jackier has led countless organizations and initiatives on behalf of the Detroit Jewish community and Israel. This includes but is not limited to his presidency with the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit (JFMD) from 2001 to 2004, his chairman-ship of the United Jewish Appeal National Young Leadership Cabinet (UJA) from 1980 to 1981, his past presidency with the American Technion Society (ATS), and his previous vice-presidency with the Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit (JCC).
Other endeavors include his current chairman-ship with the Technion Institute, and his current position as vice-president of the Detroit Jewish News Foundation. Jackier has also served as chairman of the Board of Trustees for United Jewish Communities (UJC), and the Bar-llan University American Board of Overseers. He is a former board member for the National Committee on Soviet Jewry, the Holocaust Memorial Center, the Project Renewal Committee, the Comprehensive Aging Service, the Friends of the Israeli Defense Forces, and Sinai Hospital. Jackier also served as the chairman of the Jewish National Fund (JNF) and the United Jewish Foundation (UJF).
Jackier is also a recipient of the Federation's prestigious Fred M. Butzel Award for Outstanding Community Service, and the Golden Torah Award (Yeshiva Beth Yehudah's highest honor). In 2000, the Technion named Jackier as an honorary fellowship, and in 2004, he was awarded an honorary doctorate for his lifelong commitment to the institute, the ATS, and the state of Israel.
