Scope and Content:: Photograph shows group portrait of Polar Bear veterans seated at banquet tables.
Biographical / Historical:: The reunion took place at the Book-Cadillac Hotel in Detroit, Mich. on May 29, 1934. The photograph belonged to Walter Schildroth, who was attached to Headquarters Co. of the 339th Infantry and served in 1918-1919 during the Allied forces intervention in Northern Russia.
Acquisition Information:: Donated by Benzie Area Historical Society (donor no. 11821 ) in January 2018.
