Scope and Content:

Letters written from Camp McKim, near Baltimore, Md., describing an expedition to the eastern shore of Maryland and winter quarters.

Biographical / Historical:

Eli Myers of Charlotte, Mich., was born in about 1840. At the age of 21, in August 6, 1861, he enlisted as a Private in Company H, Michigan 6th Infantry Regiment. Myers was mustered out on May 20, 1862 on Mississippi River.
