Fair Housing
The Fair Housing series is subdivided into four folders. The Notes folder contains Bryant's notes from hearings and about legislation, either undated or from 1963. In the Publicity folder are a classified ad run related to housing discrimination and a petition. The Ann Arbor Documents folder contains information specific to fair housing in Ann Arbor including 1960 census data, ordinances to amend housing code, a NAACP housing ordinance from 1962, public hearing testimony of the NAACP from 1963, and proposals for a new chapter 112 of the Ann Arbor City Code. The fourth folder, Other USA Locations Documents, includes materials about fair housing in California, New York City, and Minnesota.

Consists of letters from family, friends, and colleagues from the 1970s through 2008. Also included is a section of letters that focus on Glendinning's books.
Civil Rights Division
The Civil Rights Division series includes materials related to the operation of the Civil Rights Division as a whole. This may include items similar to those that may be found in other series in this collection. The majority of items are memos, correspondence, reports, articles, and press releases. This series has two sub-series: Cross-Divisional and Inter-Divisional. The Cross-Divisional sub-series includes materials that relate to other governmental agencies, such as the FBI and Congress. The Inter-Divisional sub-series includes materials that relate across the Civil Rights Division and the operation of the Division as a whole, such as inter-divisional memos, speeches from the various Attorneys General, and other smaller offices within the Division such as the Office of Redress Administration. Materials within this series are arranged topically.
