Item [15] promotes Golden State dairy products. Supposedly compiled by the boy Wilberforce by cutting out recipes from Golden State ads so that his sister Hysteria would learn to cook and attract a husband. (Wilberforce and family are mythical characters used on the air to introduce commercials.) Includes table of contents; Aunt Minnie's household hints; illustrations of domestic and fanciful scenes with food; and advertisement for radio program sponsored by Golden State with times and call numbers for San Francisco and Los Angeles. Sample recipes: egg shirabun, lemon Bavarian cream, and creamed shrimp. Marked: DPA-125.
