The majority of the Ephemera and Print series (1922-1991; 0.75 linear ft. and 1 oversized folder) relates to Duesenberg automobiles as well and is, therefore, arranged according to format of the material rather than topically. Newport collected original magazine advertisements for Duesenberg. Two are filed within this series (see also: Albums--Duesenberg advertisements and photographs) along with advertisements for other makes and models. These were perhaps used by Newport to inspire later custom designs. Magazine articles are almost exclusively Duesenberg-related and are filed alphabetically by magazine title. They range in date from the 1930s to the 1990s and cover specific models, collecting and investing, and the death of Fred S. Duesenberg. Some files contain multiple articles; most are original but several photocopies are scattered throughout. Other items of note within this series are original documentation of Duesenberg models such as pamphlets; sales catalogues from the late 1920s and early 1930s; and Model J parts lists from the 1930s. Newport performed design work on the 1939 Nash and the 1938 Pontiac, and sales catalogues for these automobiles are included in this series as well.
