The ERAmerica series contains correspondence, mailings, minutes and reports from that organization, as well as transcripts and correspondence (from both the radio station--WJR--and from listeners) from Callow's "Point of View" radio broadcasts. The correspondence relates to various activities that Callow participated in on behalf of ERAmerica, including letter-writing to politicians, speaking engagements, fundraising and contributions to other organizations. Michigan ERAmerica folder includes flyers and programs of events, minutes of meetings (scattered years), and issues of "Coalition Update" edited by Callow. Also, an audiocassette titled Olivia P. Maynard "ERA Extension."

The Smallpox Eradication (WHO) series (7.2 linear feet, 1 oversize folder, 1 film reel, and digital material (online)) documents efforts to eradicate smallpox around the world, principally in India. Material is dated from approximately 1953-2022 and includes correspondence, publications and reports, graphic medicine cartoons, photograph albums, a scrapbook, and audiovisual material.
Because of the overlap in content, researchers are encouraged to review of the content of multiple subseries.
(The Reports and Related Material subseries (2.3 linear feet) primarily consists of WHO reports about international smallpox eradication efforts. Other material in this subseries includes publications from the United States' Center for Disease Control (CDC) on smallpox identification and management; articles, interviews, and other material about Śītalā (also spelled Shitala, Sheetala, and Seetla), the Hindu goddess of ailments associated with smallpox; and educational material related to smallpox investigation, surveillance, and containment.)

The Department of Dance series (2 linear feet, 1 oversize box, and digital material) includes audiovisual material, chronological files, posters, and topical files. The material predominantly documents departmental shows over the decades. Also included are material related to dancers Lucas Hoving and Pearl Primus and the Bicentennial photo exhibit and dance performance, "Glancing Back, Dancing Forward."

The Oral History Interviews series contains digital oral history material—audio recordings, interview transcripts, short interviewee biographies, and images of interviewees (excluding Christopher Armstrong)—collected from 2019 to 2021 as part of the Spectrum Center LGBTQ Oral History Project. Participants in this project include University of Michigan alumni, faculty, and staff who identify as LGBTQ. Topics addressed include the interviewee's life prior to coming to University of Michigan, LGBTQ life and experiences on campus, and the university's impact on their life and coming out. Interviews conducted in late 2020 and early 2021 also address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the impact of the Black Lives Matter movement in the wake of the murders of Black Americans like George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, and interviewees' reaction to the Obergefell v. Hodges Supreme Court decision.
Each interview also addresses one or more sensitive topics, which include assault, homophobia, stalking, harassment, transphobia, the AIDS crisis, and/or violence against members in the LGBTQ community.
