The Martha Cook Building records (circa 1913-2016) document the activities of those involved with the Martha Cook Building and include blueprints; chronological files; clippings; correspondence; financial records; minutes; reports; scrapbooks; subject files; and visual materials, such as negatives, photographs, and photograph albums.
Significant people and groups featured in this collection include William. W. Cook; various House Directors, such as Sarah Rowe, G.J. Diekema, Olive Chernow, Josette Allen, and Rosalie Moore; the building's Board of Governors and House Board; and Martha Cook Building students and alumnae. Other notable topics include the construction, furnishing and remodeling of the Martha Cook Building; various scholarships; and activities, such as various anniversary events and the Messiah Dinner.

The Michigan Today records (4 linear feet and digital files) date from 1968 to 2007 and will be received on an ongoing basis. These records constitute a full run of the publication, as well as additional materials documenting the photographic research process. There are four series in the collection: Michigan Today: Print Edition, Michigan Today: Online Edition, Photographs, and Michigan Today: NewsE.
The Michigan Today: Online Edition series consists of the digital files used to publish the magazine to the web. It contains selected issues from the early online version of Michigan Today (published from March 1993 to July 2007) and all issues of the current online version of Michigan Today. Beginning in 2001, unique content was created for the online version of Michigan Today. An "Alumnae/Alumni News" section was published exclusively in the online version of the magazine and a "Books" section was published with additional content in the online version of the publication. Also, the current online version of Michigan Today published from September 2007 is included in this series. This represents the primary version of Michigan Today still being published.

These publications are defined as being widely distributed and may be published at regular intervals. They are arranged by genre of the publication.

The Publications of the Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience Institute (1 linear foot) consist of annual reports, calendars, directories, histories, and newsletters such as Speaking of... MHRI and the MHRI Newsletter. They also include reports such as the Markey Grant Progress Report and a reprint of the speeches delivered at the dedication of the Mental Health Research Institute. The Publications are divided into two subseries: Unit Publications and Topical Publications.

The material in the University of Michigan College of Engineering Class of 1947 records relate mainly to class reunions, held every five years from 1952 through 2007, including materials related to fundraising for and planning of the 50th reunion gift, a reflecting pool and fountain on the university's North Campus.
The material also includes responses to questionnaires sent out around each reunion collecting information about class members since graduation relating to their occupations and personal lives. A complete roster of the class as of 1987 was compiled for the 40th reunion and can be found in that folder.
