Lithographer, professor of art at the University of Michigan. Exhibition catalogs, publications containing reproductions of his work, pricelists, miscellaneous correspondence and clippings; and photographs.

The Weddige papers consist of various materials documenting his personal and professional life. Included are exhibition catalogs and reproductions of Weddige's work appearing on greeting cards and other publications. There are also many photographs of Weddige at work in his studio, at exhibitions, and with friends and family. The bulk of the documents relates to the period of 1985 to 1999. A small portion of the collection dates from his childhood and high school years.

Various posters advertising theatrical and musical productions put on by the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance and related units ranging from 1936 to the present. Includes posters from the Department of Speech (before the School of Music had a separate theatre department). Dance Company, Department of Music, Department of Musical Theater, Department of Theater and Drama, and the Opera Theater program.

The University Productions posters collection contains posters largely created by University Productions which handles music, dance, voice, and theatre productions for the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance. The poster collection is arranged in eight series: Collage Concerts, Dance Company, Department of Music, Department of Musical Theater, Department of Speech, Department of Theater and Drama, Opera Theater and Oversize Files.

Private society affiliated with the University of Michigan, sponsors music, opera, theatrical and other performances. Contains brochures or pamphlets, flyers and other publicity publications. The two volume history One Hundred Years of Great Performances, 1879-1979 is included in addition to the newsletter UMS Notes. Also contains programs of various performances sponsored by the University Musical Society.

The UMS Publications, 1874-2010 (13 linear feet) were received from the University Musical Society staff in periodic transfers. Additional publications, collected by the Graduate Library, have been interfiled to fill gaps in the series. Publications is composed of two series: Unit Publications and Sub-Unit Publications.

The Unit Publications series contains printed material published specifically by the University Musical Society. These publications are defined as being widely distributed and may be published at regular intervals. They are arranged by genre of the publication.

The School of Music, Theatre, & Dance (University of Michigan) records document music education in Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan and student and faculty musical production beginning in 1885. The records include student ledgers listing names, tuition, and instructors; correspondence and clippings, 1924-1953, concerning the University Band, including correspondence of William D. Revelli; files relating to musical programs, particularly the Michigan Singers' Spring Tour, the Union Opera, and Musket productions; minutes of the executive committee and faculty; and digitized audio and video recordings of performances, including performances at the Interlochen Center for the Arts, by the Michigan Youth Ensembles, and other groups associated with the School of Music, Theatre & Dance. Gilbert and Sullivan Society (University of Michigan) records, 1947-2011

University of Michigan group established in 1946 devoted to production of Gilbert and Sullivan operettas. Records include production files with programs, photographs, reviews and newspaper clippings, and scattered production notes and memoranda; topical files relating to the Society, its friends organization, and its publication; slides of productions; Society newsletter, "Gasbag"; posters; phonorecords, tapes, and videos of productions.

The records of UMGASS have been divided into ten series: Slides, Topical Files, Production Files, Posters, Memorabilia Volumes, Magnetic Tape Recordings, Sound Recordings, Audiotapes, Videotapes, and Scrapbooks. Because materials on one production can include photographs, scrapbooks, recordings, or slides- all of which live within different boxes of the collection -- a directory has been compiled in the Production Files series. The directory lists the year and title of the UMGASS production for which the library has materials and a lettered key exists that denotes the physical existence and location of materials within the collection.
