The Asian Art Photographic Distribution (AAPD) project was established at the University of Michigan in 1970 with excess funds left over from the Palace Museum Archive from the National Palace Museum in Taiwan. From 1971-2006, AAPD produced and sold sets of 35mm slides depicting Asian artworks from various museum collections and exhibitions.

Slides are grouped into sets based on the repository or exhibition of the artworks documented. The objects represented by this collection came from public and private collections as well as traveling exhibitions. Subjects cover a wide range of artistic media including painting, sculpture, calligraphy, etc. Geographic regions include China, Japan, and central Asia. Time periods covered range from ancient to twentieth century.

Supplementing the slides are two file folder cabinet drawers, approximately three linear feet in total, of documentation relating to the creation and sales of AAPD slide sets.

Papers of Luther H. Buchele, first general manager of the Inter-Cooperative Council (ICC), the governing body of student cooperatives in Ann Arbor, Mich., who served the ICC for 34 years. Collection includes Buchele's personal and professional correspondence and biographical material. Material related to national and regional student cooperative organizations, as well as the cooperative movement, includes surveys, reports, conference material and publications. Also included material related to Buchele's political activism and interests.

The Luther H. Bucheles collection consists of personal and professional correspondence, biographical materia, material related to national and regional student cooperative organizations, as well as the cooperative movement, including surveys, reports, conference material and publications. Also included is material related to Buchele's political activism and interests The collection is organized into two series: Personal and Biographical Material and Cooperatives. The Cooperatives series is divided into three subseries: Student Cooperatives, Cooperative Movement, and Visual Materials.

Papers of Washtenaw County, Mich. architectural historian and preservation activist Mary M. Culver. Collection includes records of Washtenaw County, Mich. historic preservation organizations, Culver's research files and presentations, and images of Michigan historic buildings.

Collection reflects Culver's work in the areas of and historic preservation and Michigan architectural history, and divided into two series: Committee Work and Research and Presentations.

Organization established to improve the health and living conditions of migrant farmworkers in six states of the Upper Midwest. Administrative records; program files detailing operation of Camp Health Aide program and publication of Migrant Health Service Directory; topical files, and videotapes publicizing camp health aide program.

The Migrant Health Promotion records document the efforts of one organization to provide health care assistance to the migrant workers of the Midwest. Beyond the history of the organization itself, the records detail something of the life and condition of workers in the migrant camps during the 1980s and 1990s with special emphasis on their health care needs.

The records of the Migrant Health Promotion have been arranged into eight series: Administrative Records; Outreach; Camp Aide Program (CHAP); Other Programs and Related Materials; Topical Files; Photographs; Videotapes; and Sound Recordings.
