University Budget, 1968-1999
The University Budget series, 1968 to 1980, contains chronologically arranged records (and then arranged alphabetically within the span of years.) The bulk of the material consists of files related to the liaison process with state government agencies regarding the university's operating budget during these years. Included for most years are appropriations requests, capital outlay budget requests, documentation pertaining to the various requests, and materials documenting legislative budget hearings.

The Administrative sub-series (1972-2009; 0.5 linear feet) includes reports, statistics, policies, and summaries, most of them commissioned by University Housing, in regards to diversity and multicultural initiatives. Reports make up the bulk of the sub-series and include those on the Blavin Scholars Program, an assessment and history of the cultural lounges, diversity within the university, University Housing students and staff, housing special programs monthly reports, minority student and staff reports, two residence hall satisfaction surveys, a Residence Hall Multicultural Council study, and university housing annual reports. Most of these reports were commissioned to assess diversity in University Housing and the effectiveness of programs created to encourage diversity. Other components of this sub- series include discriminatory incident summaries, information on discrimination policies, a University Housing interview with artist John Lockard, and correspondence on the Michigan Civil Rights Initiative.
