The LaVerne Schmitkons Nethercut collection consists mainly of materials accumulated while she (Vernie Schmitkons) was a student at the University of Michigan. There is one scrapbook detailing her activities at the University as well as other materials which was intended to be placed in other scrapbook volumes. This material (clippings, memorabilia, receipts, course materials, publications, etc.) documents her involvement in campus activities and organizations. Notable among her activities are files relating to the Student Executive Committee of the Michigan Memorial Phoenix Project, course materials from the U-M Department of Physical Education for Women, and a workbook and other materials from the summers she spent as a counselor at the University's National Music Camp at Interlochen. A smaller part of the collection consists of travel brochures for the Alpena area collected for the period of the 1990s up to about 2005.

University of Michigan alumnus (M.P.H., 1977) and associate professor of epidemiology (1977-1988) who, as a medical officer for the World Health Organization (WHO), helped eradicate smallpox, primarily from India. Includes WHO Global Smallpox Eradication Programme correspondence, reports, photographic material, publications, and posters; and collected publications.

The Lawrence Brilliant papers documents efforts to eradicate smallpox, primarily the joint World Health Organization (WHO) and Government of India smallpox eradication campaign of 1973-1975. Material is dated from approximately 1882-2022 (majority of material found within 1972-1979) and includes correspondence, various kinds of reports and publications, photograph albums and a scrapbook, posters, and microfilm.

Researchers should note that this collection contains images of individuals, including children, suffering from smallpox.

LeRoy Cappaert was a teacher and Democratic city councilman from Ann Arbor, Michigan, 1964-1970, delegate to the 1968 Democratic National Convention, and member of the Coalition for Peace in Central America, and organization established to provide assistance to Ann Arbor's sister city, Juigalpa, Nicaragua. Lael Cappaert was a librarian, also active in political and community causes. Papers and notebooks concerning LeRoy's election campaigns for the city council, his council activities, his work as delegate at the Democratic National Conventions of 1964 and 1968, and the 1968 Presidential campaign of Senator Eugene McCarthy, his work with the Coalition for Peace in Central America; memoirs of his wife Lael Cappaert, pictorial history of their daughter Andrea Lael Cappaert; audio-visual material; and scrapbooks.

LeRoy and Lael Cappaert's papers are divided into the following series: Democratic Party politics; Ann Arbor City Council; Personal/Biographical; Family; Coalition for Peace in Central America; Visual Materials; Sound Recordings; and Scrapbooks. Most of the files relate to LeRoy Cappaert's career.

The Martha Cook Building (MCB) opened in the fall of 1915 as the second all-women's dormitory on the University of Michigan campus. It was a gift of Mr. William Wilson Cook, a lawyer-philanthropist from New York City who was born and raised in Hillsdale, Michigan. The Martha Cook Building records are dated from circa 1913-2016 and include blueprints; chronological files; clippings; correspondence; financial records; minutes, particularly of both the MCB's Board of Governors and House Board; publications; reports; scrapbooks; subject files; and visual materials, such as negatives, photographs, and photograph albums.

Collection includes 21 scrapbooks, primarily containing clippings from Bodnar's playing career. Collection also includes materials related to the implementation of personal seat licenses at Michigan Stadium, limited correspondence, and memorabilia.

This collection is arranged into three series. The largest series, Scrapbooks (1976-1981), consists of scrapbooks compiled by Marty Bodnar throughout his career as a Michigan basketball player. The scrapbooks primarily contain news clippings about his own achievements as a player, as well as press releases, photographs, and correspondence regarding Marty and Mark Bodnar's recruitment.

The Preferential Seating Plan series (2003) contains a large dossier compiled as Michigan was planning to implement the "Preferential Seating Plan" at Michigan Stadium, commonly known as Personal Seat Licenses and Priority Points. It includes details of the proposal and research completed while preparing the proposal. There are a number of exhibits, including an Executive Summary, information about the current budget, research on other athletic departments, and other information on the plan.

The Personal Papers series (1976-2012) includes limited correspondence throughout Bodnar's career as both a player and administrator. It also contains press releases, a copy of a speech the Bodnar brothers gave at the 1990 Basketball Bust, and photographs. A limited number of publications are part of this series, such as assorted game programs and media guides from Bodnar's playing career, and several issues of Go Blue!: Inside Wolverine Sports magazine. It also contains audio tapes from his personal collection.

The records of the Men's Glee Club date from 1886 to 2012 and were received in several major accessions. The first accession, covering 1886-1985 and 1991, includes four linear feet of manuscript, printed, and photographic material as well as posters, scrapbooks, and sound recordings in a variety of formats. The first accession has been divided into five series: Chronological File, Philip A. Duey Material, Photographs, Sound Recordings, Scrapbooks, and Archived Website.

The 1995 accession of the records of the Men's Glee Club were comprised of two linear feet of correspondence, photographs, and topical files ranging from 1919 to 1994. Items of particular interest include a folder of historical writings, which provides anecdotes, reflections, and facts about the club prepared for an exhibit on club history. The Press Releases folder is also of note, as it reflects information given out by the club to newspapers and other media of the towns they visited. Both of these folders are found in the Topical series. The records of this accession are divided into 3 series: Correspondence, Topical, and Visual Materials.

The 2010 accession to the University of Michigan Men's Glee Club records is organized into one series. The Sound Recordings series, 1952-1987, (10 linear feet) is comprised of University of Michigan Men's Glee Club concert recordings, including its annual fall and spring concert series. Many of the boxes of tape reel also include a concert program and concert set list.

The 2012 accession consisted entirely of digital materials (scanned images, audio files, video files, and still images) that added content to the Chronological Files series and established a China Concert Tour series. The 2018 accession consisted of phonograph records, which have been added to the Sound Recordings series, and publications.

Records include administrative files, national and statewide boards and committee minutes, publications, topical files, photographs, slides, and scrapbooks documenting hostel trends, events, and programming for the latter half of the 20th century.

Michigan Visiting Nurses was created by the integration of the Visiting Nurse Association of Huron Valley into the University of Michigan Health System beginning in 1998. The Visiting Nurse Association of Huron Valley formed in 1980 with the merger of the Ann Arbor Visiting Nurse Association (AAVNA) and the Ypsilanti Visiting Nurse Agency (YVNA). The Ann Arbor association was formed in 1896 with the establishment of the University Hospital Circle of the King's Daughters, name later changed to the Ann Arbor Public Health Nursing Association. The Ypsilanti Agency was founded in 1941. Records include: Secretary's record books and files consisting of minutes, reports, and related organizational documents; scrapbooks; financial records; and subject files.

The Michigan Visiting Nurses (MVN) records cover over 100 years of public health nursing in Washtenaw County, documenting the changing nature of this service and its associated agencies over the course of the twentieth century. The MVN records are organized into four series: Ann Arbor Visiting Nurse Association, Ypsilanti Visiting Nurse Agency, Visiting Nurse Association of Huron Valley, and Michigan Visiting Nurses.
