The Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries began in 1909 as an organization offering food, shelter, and church services to the homeless of Detroit. Since then it has grown in size and scope as it now offers treatment for addiction, mental health services, and more throughout the Detroit Metropolitan area. The bulk of the collection includes project reports, program meeting minutes, photographs, and audio and video recordings relating to the organization. The collection also includes files of the organization's leaders administrators: Chad Audi, Donald DeVos, Barbara Willis, among others.

The Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries records primarily include materials dating from the 1980s up through the 2010s. A portion of the collection documents the early years, between the early and mid-1900s. The collection includes administrative records, project reports, as well as photographs and other publicity material.

The records of the cooperative date essentially from the second half of its existence. They consist for the most part of financial records and minutes of board meetings and annual meetings. Unfortunately, there is very little correspondence. Nor do the existing records reveal much biographical information about the German-Americans who were predominant in the cooperative. A sample of the stock certificates has been preserved for the stocks' attractive illustrations.

Diane Hebert is an environmentalist and environmental activist living in Midland, Michigan. Since the 1970s, Hebert has been investigating the emissions produced by the Dow Chemical Company and the dangers of human exposure to a group of chemicals called dioxins. The Diane Hebert papers include correspondence, meeting agenda and notes, and research material related to Hebert's involvement in environmental activism, as well as various publications and reports related to Dow, and the link between health and the environment.

The Diane Hebert papers comprise 8 linear feet of materials, spanning the years 1950 to 2009, with the bulk of the materials dating from 1970 to 2000. The papers include correspondence, meeting agenda and notes, and research related to Hebert's involvement in environmental activism, as well as collected publications and reports related to Dow, and the link between health and the environment.

The records of the Division of Research Development and Administration (1919-1996) encompass the DRDA and all of its predecessor organizations, including the Department of Engineering Research, the Engineering Research Institute, the University of Michigan Research Institute, and the Office of Research Administration. Record types include correspondence, topical subject files, research grant files, meeting minutes, financial records, and photographs.

The records of the Division of Research Development and Administration (1919-1996) encompass both the DRDA and all of its predecessor organizations. The papers have been divided into seven major series: Governing and Oversight Bodies (1919-1964), Staff and Committee Records (ca. 1922-1979), Administrative Files (1922-1972), Correspondence Files (1943-1972), Willow Run Laboratories (1946-1966), Directors' Files, and several boxes of Research Grant Files on microfilm. There are also four smaller series: the Engineering College Research Council (1959-1961), Review of the DRDA - Report to Harold Shapiro, 1980, Engineering Research Institute - miscellaneous research reports, Photographs, and Programmed Research Information System at Michigan (PRISM) Reports.

Dominic J. Perrone Jr. was a prominent business man and Democrat politician in Ionia County, Michigan in the 1950s. He was an active member of the Ionia Public Board of Education and served for 16 years on the board. The collection contains files relating to his political career and businesses, his personal diaries, and photographs.

The papers of Dominic Joseph Perrone Jr. reflect Perrone's growth as a newsboy to a prominent business man and politician in Ionia County, Michigan. The papers date from 1927 to 1987.

Saginaw based Michigan architect; 1929 graduate of University of Michigan's School of Architecture. Designed a variety of private and public buildings in the 1940s and early 1950s, mainly in mid and northern Michigan. Collection comprised of six pencil and watercolor renderings, sixty-three measured working drawings, and twenty-two black and white photographs.

The Donald A. Kimball collection (7 oversized folders and .25 linear ft., 1935-1954) is a concentrated and fine example of the work of a Michigan architect practicing largely in mid and northern Michigan during the late 30s through the mid 50s. The collection is comprised wholly of visual architectural material representative of the spirit of the times. Researchers should note that an additional Kimball collection is held at Central Michigan University in the Clarke Historical Library.

There are three series in the collection: Renderings (6 boards, 1935-1946 and undated); Architectural Drawings (63 drawings for 6 projects, 1936-1954); and Photographs (22 prints, undated). There is some overlap between the series. For example, there are items representing Saginaw's Michigan Bean Company in each of the series; and there are both drawings and photographs for WSAM Radio Station, also a Saginaw building.

Chairman of the board of the Oakland County Community Mental Health Services Board and Oakland County Judge of Probate. The collection includes files accumulated from his work as member and chairman of the Board. The Board was established in the 1960s to implement the new Michigan mental health code whose intent was to involve local communities in mental health care services. Also included personal correspondence with wife Elizabeth Sparks Adams, as well as diaries, family materials, and photographs, and materials relating to Adams' career as a judge.

This collection documents various aspects of Donald Adams' personal and professional life. The majority of records relate to his time on the Oakland County Community Mental Health Services Board. Also included here are family correspondence (in particualar, correspondence with his wife Elizabeth Adams), materials about his career as a judge, and about his family.

Donald G. Staebler was a farmer who worked on the Staebler Family Farm in Dixboro, Michigan. Staebler collected and preserved historical documents relating to the Staebler family. He used these records to write a history of the farm. The collection includes scrapbooks of photographs, correspondence, and other materials related to the family. Also included are Staebler's written notes and drafts of the farm's history.

The Donald G. Staebler papers contains his writings and research, as well as material documenting the Staebler Family Farm in Dixboro, Michigan. The first box holds four scrapbooks that includes photographs, newspaper clippings, and other collected records from members of the Staebler family. Within these scrapbooks are written histories of the farm and family to provide context for the documents.

The second box consists of additional collected family materials including diaries, correspondence, and other records related to members of the family like Helen Staebler Martin and Henry Staebler. This box also includes more of Donald Staebler's writings, and letters to his wife, Lena while he lived in England.
