One Volume lists only volunteers in First Sharpshooters, First Engineers and Mechanics, and First Light Artillery. Information includes date of payments, name of recruit, age, regiment served, number of voucher, residence, and amount of bounty paid.

Subseries 1.4 (Officer Records) includes records pertaining to both commissioned and non-commissioned officers from 1861 to 1920.
