List of recruits who volunteered in Michigan Regiments and Batteries, since March 6, 1863, and who received bounty payments. One Volume lists only volunteers in First Sharpshooters, First Engineers and Mechanics, and First Light Artillery. Information includes date of payments, name of recruit, age, regiment served, number of voucher, residence, and amount of bounty paid.

Entry is alphabetical by name. Backstrips tattered and separated; no label.

Old Series 15

Subseries 1.4 (Officer Records) includes records pertaining to both commissioned and non-commissioned officers from 1861 to 1920.

Shows name, date of commission, residence, and remarks. Entry by regiment, then rank. "Commissioned Officers" on spine.
