Recently had the Power of Attorney proved and is sending documents to the recipient to be recorded [these documents not present]. He cannot comply with Mr. Wharton's wish to travel to New York and England, on account of his being unable to support his family while away and an outstanding mortgage on his estate. Mr. Croghan has not responded to correspondence. Intends to make it to England in due time to follow their plan.
