The Employment Related series documents Reuben's professional life. It includes material created during Reuben's time as a journalist and writer for the National Guardian, the New York Post, and the American Civil Liberties Union, where Reuben served as a publicist. The series also contains documents related to Reuben's own companies, Action Books and Edgehill Associates, Inc, as well as various grant and foundation applications. A large portion of the series is comprised of material related to the Humanity Guild, for whom Reuben briefly worked and later sued. Of special note is correspondence and other material from Peter Shepherd, Reuben's literary agent from Harold Ober and Associates.
