Correspondence
The Correspondence series, 1922-1942 (0.75 linear feet) contains incoming and outgoing professional correspondence related to Hinsdale's post-retirement work in archaeology. The correspondence has been arranged alphabetically by correspondent, and much of it relates to archaeological sites and projects in Michigan. Of particular note are the folders for Walter Schmidt, William F. Gagnieur, Emerson Greenman, and Margaret Lambert which include substantial archaeological and ethnographic field notes.
