This collection consists of that research material accumulated by Sidney Fine in the course of research for his various monographs on the New Deal, the Detroit Riot of 1967, and his study of Walter Drew.

Detroit Riots, 1967

The Detroit Riots 1967 series mostly includes photocopies of court transcripts, reports, memoranda, and correspodence of several Federal government agencies and of the Detroit Police Department. Also included published and unpublished research papers and articles by other historians, social sicentists, and medical scientists. Researchers will also find typescripts of interviews, police officers' notes and reminiscences, and other original material.
