Breakfast of Champions

The Breakfast of Champions subseries contains materials related to a film project based on the novel of the same name by Kurt Vonnegut. The property was to be part of the three picture deal with Dino DeLaurentis along with Buffalo Bill and the Indians and Ragtime. Due to Buffalo Bill's performance at the box office, the rest of the deal fell apart. However, this project was resurrected in the 1990s by Alan Rudolph and eventually made into a film starring Bruce Willis (without Altman's involvement). The materials include agreements, budgets and scripts. The scripts include both the first draft from 1975 and later drafts from 1992 and 1994.
