Committees, 1973-2007
The Committees series consists of materials from three committees that Monts participated in: Academic Services Board (ASB), the Council on a Multicultural University (COMU), and the Undergraduate Council. The Council on a Multicultural University was created in 1990 to assist in achieving the goals of the Michigan Mandate relating to diversity. The Undergraduate Council was formed to implement the recommendations of the President's Commission on the Undergraduate Experience, or the Undergraduate Commission. As with other records series, the Committees series may overlap with records in Monts' General Files.
