Four weeks ago, had a fire in the press house and two weeks ago had another. Description of the outbreak of the fire, with a particular attention to the times of the fires. Writing this letter while looking out the "dirty window pane of the Press house," waiting for the engine whistle to mark the end of the workday. While not superstitious, he and colleagues worry about the time and its association with the fires. Disagreeable weather; family updates. On "THE OLIVER POWDER CO.
