The Audiovisual series (1 linear foot) consists of audio cassettes, compact discs, audio reels, and Beta and VHS videocassettes, arranged into subseries by type of medium. Recorded here are various readings and interviews given by Madgett, as well as musical performances of her work, radio appearances, presentations at awards ceremonies, and professionally produced titles like A Poet's Voice: Poetry by Naomi Long Madgett from Octavia and Other Poems (1997). Some recordings feature other authors reading, namely James Emanuel and Baraka Sele. Footage of the Lotus Press 20th and 30th Anniversary celebrations can also be found in this series.
