The Library Position Classifications subseries, 1963-1991(bulk 1971-1979), is organized alphabetically and chronologically. Administrative files are arranged alphabetically and precede position description materials. Administrative files detail the position evaluation process and reconsideration requests. Position description materials are organized chronologically. Records contain detailed descriptions of job summary, work performed, periodic duties, job qualifications, education, and experience. During the 1970s, the library went through a significant restructuring period. The records in this sub-series shed light on the changing needs of the library and its staff.
