Correspondence

Mrs. Gomon's correspondence is very rich. The World War II period is particularly well documented by a series of almost daily letters written by Mrs. Gomon to her children. The letters of Mrs. Gomon's son-in-law, Guy Nunn, are also very informative about the situation in post-World War II Germany and the V.F.W. in the early 1950s.

Notebooks of news items

Mrs. Gomon took extensive notes on a variety of subjects that interested her. The notebooks she kept on various newspapers reporting about political and social events are particularly valuable since the newspapers in question are, with the exception of the New York Times, not indexed.
