244 Payment orders for Works Services in the Engineers Department of the British military. The documents regarding services consist of payments to workers such as carpenters, coxswains and boat crews, storekeepers, chain drivers, foremen, payments to overseers of slave labor, engineers (including payments to Moncrieff himself), miners and sappers (non-commissioned officers and privates), draughtsmen, a surgeon (Robert Wilson), tailors/shoemakers, and other workers.
