Correspondence
The Correspondence series (0.75 linear feet) is divided into incoming and outgoing letters. However, the Incoming subseries frequently includes drafts or copies of Werkheiser's replies. Incoming correspondence is sorted alphabetically by correspondent. Some correspondence is addressed to multiple recipients--usually Werkheiser, Mildred Loomis, and other School of Living figures. Within some of the name files, the researcher will find small amount of correspondence between the correspondent listed and others besides Don Werkheiser.
Correspondents significant for being well-known within their movements or for their close relationships with Werkheiser include Ralph Borsodi; Mildred Loomis; Laurance Labadie; Theodore Schroeder; Robert Anton Wilson; Ralph Templin; Mark Sullivan (of the MacKay Society); Theo Megalli (of the Monetary Freedom Network); Mark Kinney; Thomas H. Greco, Jr.; Leon Vickman; Don Weaver; and Don Newey.
Also of interest is correspondence with the attorney Humbert Cofrances. These letters concern Werkheiser's attempts to recover his property from among Theodore Schroeder's effects.
The Outgoing subseries consists of drafts or copies of Werkheiser's letters to other individuals and letters to the editors of various publications (some in their draft versions and some as they appeared in print).
