Bruce-Kingsmill placed with story of history of Vegex instead of with endorsements.

Item [7] promotes Hellmann's mayonnaise. Includes main dish salad, fruit salad, and sandwich recipes; and images of serving suggestions. Sample recipes: country club salad, Hallowe'en sandwiches, and tartar sauce. Marked: 24271.

Item [8] promotes Hellman's mayonnaise. Item [8] is similar to item [7] but contains different mix of recipes; slight variation in cover design; and contains introduction to brief history of mayonnaise. Damaged: missing pages 17-19 and back cover.

Item [9] promotes Hellmann's mayonnaise. Includes salad, sandwich, and fruit recipes; advice on preparing salads; and list of Blue Ribbon products. Sample recipes: [chicken salad], [macaroni salad], and [banana and egg yolk sandwiches].

Item [10] promotes the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company. Includes suggestions for giving home-made food as gifts; baked good, candy, preserve, and pickle recipes; and advice for packaging gifts. Sample recipes: honey sugar cookies, Danish Christmas cakes (klejner), and mince meat hermits.

Item [11] promotes Duff's ginger bread mix. Includes baked good, frosting, filling, and dessert sauce recipes tested and approved by Dorothy W. Kirk, food consultant; and advice on baking with ginger bread. Sample recipes: ginger bread turnovers, ginger bread waffles, and banana cream filling.

Item [12] promotes Duff's ginger bread mix. Item [12] is similar to item [11] but contians image on inside front cover of The Ginger Bread Man, trademark of Duff's Molasses; and contains list of Duff's baking mixes.

Item [13] promotes Madonna brand tomato paste. Includes description of tomato paste production; entree, side dish, sauce, soup, bread, salad, baked good, and creole recipes; and notation of product as tested and approved by Good Housekeeping Bureau. Some recipes contain wine, beer, or liquor as an ingredient. Sample recipes: chicken marchand de vin; carrot pancakes with Madonna sauce, and cabbage veal rolls in tomato sauce.
