The Outgoing Correspondence, 1967-1987 series consists of carbon copies of Gull's outgoing letters. They concern all aspects of Gull's work in these years, primarily his consulting projects as President of Cloyd Dake Gull and Associates. Many of these letters also appear in the appropriate subject files along with the incoming letters. The series is arranged chronologically.

This Gull Calendars, 1946-1986 series contains desk and pocket calendars showing Gulls' appointments and meetings. No calendars are included for the years 1949 to 1951 and 1956. The series is arranged chronologically.

This series contains publications on library and information science collected by Gull. The series was originally much larger, but during processing the publications were checked against the holdings of the University of Michigan library system. All items already held by the University were eliminated from the collection unless they contained significant annotations by Gull or were directly connected to his career. The folder title list identifies these annotated items and ones with special Gull connections. The series is subdivided into the following categories, with the materials are arranged alphabetically within each category:
