Administration
The Administration series, 1935-1980s, contains records relating to the operation of the Committee. Histories of the organization are filed at the beginning of the series, followed by the constitution and bylaws and scattered minutes of meetings of the board of directors, 1935-1950, and the executive council, 1960-1972. Correspondence with individuals who served as sponsors of the Committee, fundraising appeals, and general office material, are followed by biographical information on several individuals prominent in the Committee. Also included in this series is correspondence of several of the Committee's attorneys; correspondence and general information sent to the local counsels in the various cities who defended the foreign-born; correspondence and statistical reports of the Committee's Naturalization Aid Service; a notice of the opening of a branch office in Harlem; and various financial records.
