College administrator; correspondence, newspaper clippings, and printed materials.

The Jacobs papers consist of correspondence, clippings, and speeches from his career as law professor and college administrator. Most of the papers are of a personal nature and provide little documentation of his activities at either Columbia, University of Denver, or Trinity College. The address series is valuable for its discussions of higher education from the 1940s to the 1960s.

Republican regent of the University of Michigan. Files and photographs relating to his election campaigns, his regental activities, especially as member of the Association of Governing Boards of State Universities and Allied Institutions; also papers concerning his work as price specialist with the Office of Price Administration during World War II, and as Michigan campaign manager for Wendell Willkie, 1943-1944.

The papers in the Alfred B. Connable collection, covering the years 1925-1992, document Connable's political and business careers, and also include biographical information. Included in the collection are newspaper clippings, correspondence, a diary, and photographs. The collection is organized into six series: Biographical Information, Board of Regents, Business Career, Political Career, Miscellaneous, and Photographs.

North American Student Cooperative League records, 1936-1977

Association of student cooperative houses and stores. Administrative correspondence, collected materials from various colleges and universities; conference files, and photographs.

The records of the North American Student Cooperative League cover the administration life of the organization, roughly 1946 to 1968, with scattered earlier and later materials. The records were accumulated and donated by the Inter-Cooperative Council of the University of Michigan and by the Co-operative League of the U.S.A. which at one time must have had custody of the records following the organization's demise.
