Most of the correspondence is with medical colleagues and concerns professional subjects, including the Medical Women's National Association, early women physicians in Michigan, and birth control. Among her correspondents is Dr. Augusta Thompson. The bulk of the collection concerns Selmon's research and writings on Michigan women physicians.
