Included with the volume are several enclosures, including a letter to Mrs. Warren declining an invitation and a letter from C. B. Upham requesting that Fanny be allowed to come and visit. There are also accounts of charges made at Warren's for foodstuffs and sewing materials, a list of sick nurses in Boston, a piece of verse, a newspaper clipping about the record cold on February 8, 1861, and a piece of birch bark.
