Vander Jagt served as Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee from 1975 until he left the House in 1992. The collection documents Vander Jagt's involvement on the National Republican Congressional Committee and his career as a Michigan congressman. It consists primarily of correspondence, legislative files, speeches, and audiovisual material.
