Abstract:
At the request of Henry, Parmelee identified the owner of the land west of Judd's property. The cost of the land would be $400 ($200 down and $200 on a two-year payment). The last information from Henry was that he and Gilbert were going to purchase the land and give the deed to Phena. They will need to act fast as men from the salt business are buying up Saginaw, Flushing, and Flint lands. The Judd that sold Henry lands previously joined the 6th Cavalry, went to Washington, "Playd up Posom," and received a discharge.
