RESTRICTIONS:

The collection is open to research. In 1973, Arthur Dunham stipulated that the names of individuals used in his World War I reminiscences could not be cited.

USE & PERMISSIONS:

In 1973, Arthur Dunham signed a deed of gift transferring his copyright to the Regents of the University of Michigan. In 1981 following the death of Arthur Dunham and the receipt of additional materials, the Dunham daughter, Mrs. Ruth Hammarstrom, signed a deed of gift reserving literary rights to quotations totaling more than a 1000 words during her lifetime. Patrons are responsible for determining the appropriate use or reuse of materials.
